BankUnited is regional bank in Florida that was looking to give their website and mobile app a more modern facelift. I had been brought onto the project as a business analyst– tasked with writing user stories and gathering business requirements– as well as a UI/Visual Designer that assisted with the web design and some of the mobile design elements.
Prior to taking on the tasks of writing user stories and design out the web and mobile UI, I was also tasked with doing a competitive analysis of digital banks within the United States, as well as within the UK. BankUnited had been thinking of taking a more digital approach to banking in the near future and wanted insights in those competitors.

The registration process consisted of four crucial steps before a user was allowed to log into their online banking dashboard: verify that you have an account with an authentication code, confirm personal information, create your login credentials, and agree to the terms and conditions. From there, users could choose if they wanted to enroll into the digital services the bank could provide.

Through the message center, users will be able to send out a message to associates of the bank in regards to any issues they are having or if they have any questions.
Bill Pay
Bill Pay
Bill pay was one of the most involved sections to design for. Once I had written up the user stories for them and gathered a deeper understanding of how it was expected to work, I designed out the interface based on the design guide provided by a third party vendor.
