Overview
Overview
Exantra was created to resolve the motivational problems that everyone experiences when trying to exercise, with a particular focus on gamers. It is the first fitness RPG that utilizes wearable tech to bring you immediate earnings for your gym efforts.

Exantra is a science-fiction role-playing game (RPG) fitness app that pairs with wearable technology; specifically a fitness tracker. This concept was intended for gamers who would want a fun storytelling element added to their workout regimen.
I worked with the co-founders to help them with the architecture of their application. I also made a moderate redesign of their User Profile and Skills pages.
Profile Page
When the user logs in to Exantra, the first place that they are taken to is their profile page where they can see the health of their ‘Titan’ character. Think of it like a sci-fi Tamagotchi whose health and experience are determined by how often the user exercises on a day-to-day basis.
At the top of the page, you have the username of the player, the experience they were able to gain and how much more experience they will need before their next level, the status of their titan’s essentials (water, food, oxygen, and sleep).
They would also be able to access the following from this menu:
Skills
These are skills based on the weapons that the player’s titan can wield. With each level up, they receive a point towards their skills.
Traits
These will determine how fast, agile, strong, or resilient the titan is when it heads off to battle or expedition
Physique
This is where the player would outfit their titan with gear. This could provide the titan with boost or unique perks, depending on the gear
Items
These are things that are found through out the campaign of the campaign or during expeditions
Skill Tree
Each titan has a specific set of weapons that they will have access to based on the titan class they select. After a player hits a certain level, they get promoted from cadet to one of the following classes:
Scout Class
They are more agile and quick on their feet. Prefers to stay hidden but can be very deadly up close. Their starter weapons are the daggers and the short bow.
Vanguard Class
They are the first ones into battle and are the most resilient. Their starter weapon is the quarter staff and the long sword
Medic Class
They tend to hang back and support their team mate however they can. They are a must have for any expedition or in large teams. Their starter weapons are the stun batons and the short sword.
